Bradford & Bingley Limited / Mortgage Express / NRAM Limited

All live customer accounts of Bradford & Bingley Limited (“B&B”), NRAM Limited and Mortgage Express (together, “the Companies”) were sold and transferred to other lenders by the end of October 2023, as a result of which the Companies ceased to operate as lenders. The Companies subsequently surrendered their regulatory permissions in July 2024, meaning they are no longer regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

On 10 December 2025, the Companies entered Members’ Voluntary Liquidation and James Miller and Gareth Harris of RSM UK Restructuring Advisory LLP were appointed Joint Liquidators of each of the Companies. The Joint Liquidators contract as agents of the Companies and without personal liability, unless specifically stated otherwise. James Miller and Gareth Harris are licensed to act as Insolvency Practitioners in the UK by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Former customers of the Companies whose accounts were sold and transferred to other lenders before the end of October 2023, including savings customers of B&B who transferred to Santander, were provided with letters at or around the date of the transfer which detailed how to contact their new lender.

Reminders of those details can be found on this Helpful Information and Contact Details page. Any queries, claims or complaints regarding these sold or transferred accounts should be directed to the relevant new lender.

Separate arrangements have been made for former customers (and authorised personal representatives of former customers) of the Companies whose accounts were not sold and transferred to another lender, or were not a savings account that transferred to Santander. Prior to entering Members’ Voluntary Liquidation, the Companies established arrangements with their former shareholder, UK Asset Resolution Limited (“UKAR”), such that UKAR will now handle matters related to certain former customers of the Companies, including (i) former customers whose loans redeemed whilst one of the Companies was the lender of record; and (ii) certain former customers who had received advice from, or had purchased products other than loans, via the Companies.

Any queries, claims or complaints from these former customers should be directed to UKAR at the following address:

UK Asset Resolution
PO BOX 118
Skipton

In order to help UKAR deal with your correspondence, you should provide your account details (if you have them), up to date contact information, and as much supporting documentation as possible.

The Companies handle data in accordance with this Privacy Notice. Further detail, including how UKAR will handle customer and other data, is set out in UKAR’s Privacy Notice which is available at the UKAR website.

Any correspondence that does not relate to former customers can be directed to:
